Uncle Don

My Dorey, Mama Ponder, my niece, Tye, and her parents John and Carla Ponder all went Christmas shoppin' last week.  I was one of the folks they were ah shoppin' fer and natural when they were ah selectin' gifts fer me, I became the subject of much of the conversation.

On that there particular shoppin' trip Dorey and Mama Ponder were ah fussin' at me and about how hard to fit I was because I was big and odd-shaped [compared to how clothes are made] and if I wasn't so dadblame grumpy about shoppin' with them I could be there and make it ah whole lot easier on them [hell on me, but easier on them] and Tye added her two cents to the subject.  Tye has always took up fer her uncle Don.  I reckon she knew I was the underdog since it was two females against poor lil' ole me.

Tye said, "Uncle Don may be big and rough and tough on the outside, but on the inside he's a big mushy, squishy Teddy Bear."

Ah reckon ah got that lil' gal fooled real good. hehe
